Madeline Perry has regained her place in the world's top 10 |
Madeline Perry is through to the semi-finals of the British National Championships in Manchester. The Banbridge woman defeated Lancashire's Vicky Botwright, a World Open Finalist, 7-11, 15-13, 8-11, 11-5, 14-12 in a thrilling encounter. "She was putting the ball so tight, like she can, but I managed to feel my way back into the match and felt more comfortable as it went on," said Perry. Perry had beaten Yorkshirewoman Lauren Siddall in the previous round. The Irish number one returned to the world's top 10 in December.
