Holt is ranked 31 in the world

Michael Holt has won the Pink Ribbon tournament which marked the opening of the South West Snooker Academy.

The 31-year-old from Nottingham beat Jimmy White 6-5 in the final after White trailed both 4-1 and 5-2.

There were four century breaks in the final, with Holt scoring 114, 127 and 129 and White 110.

The event, at the academy which will stage a qualifier for the World Open at the end of July, raised a total of £6,300 for breast cancer charities.
