Mark Allen eased to a second Northern Ireland title

Mark Allen put in a clinical display to win his second Northern Ireland Championship title on Sunday at the Fountain Club in Antrim.

The Antrim teenager defeated Newry's Kieran McMahon 10-1 in the decider.

This followed whitewash wins on Saturday over David Hawthorne and Jordan Brown in the quarter-finals and semi-finals.

The current European and world amateur champion will turn professional at the end of the season.
