Mark Allen is the World and European Amateur Champion
Antrim's Mark Allen has won the European Under-19 Snooker Championship in Russia.

The Antrim teenager defeated England's Chris Norbury by six frames to five in an exciting final.

The success crowns a remarkable season for the 19-year-old, who will turn professional at the end of this season.

He won the IBSF World Amateur Champion in Holland last December, having secured the European Amateur title six months earlier.
