 Mark Allen has won world and European championships |
Antrim snooker player Mark Allen has announced that he is to turn professional in September. The 19-year-old will join Joe Swail and Patrick Wallace as the third Northern Ireland player at the top level.
Allen was crowned IBSF World Amateur Champion in December 2004, having already secured the European title six months earlier.
He has signed up with Zen Snooker Management who also have former world champion Peter Ebdon on their books.
