Guernsey yacht White Rabbit made the most of difficult conditions to win the 2010 edition of the Carey-Olsen Inter Island Yacht Race.

Skipper Laurie Watson managed to navigate through inconsistent winds to bring White Rabbit over the finish line in St Helier in four hours 29 minutes.

The 2009 winner Tom Bombadil, skippered by Dave Williams, was the first of the Jersey boats on handicap.

A total of 42 yachts completed the course between Guernsey and Jersey.

The trophy for the first under-25 skipper to finish went to Jersey's Tom Vallois on Super Q.
