Five rowers from Gloucestershire have been named in the Great Britain squad for the World Championships in New Zealand next month. Olympic Gold medalists Peter Reed and Zac Purchase will compete in the Men's Pair and Lightweight Men's Double Scull respectively. Cheltenham's Alex Gregory is one of of the Men's Four. In the women's events Beth Rodford takes her place in the Quad Sculls and Natasha Page in the Eight. The World Championships are being held at Lake Karapiro from 31 October to 7 November 2010.
