Porthtowan Surfboat Club have won the UK Open Surfboat Championship for a second consecutive year. The men's team fought off tough competition from French and New Zealand crews to successfully defend the title at Staunton in Devon. Cornish teams also did well in the women's draw, with local crews taking the first five positions in the final. Bude Runners claimed first place overall, ahead of crews from Perranporth and Porthtowan.
