Plymouth Argyle have handed a one-week trial to Birmingham City goalkeeper Colin Doyle.

The 25-year-old Republic of Ireland cap played 45 minutes for Peter Reid's side during Wednesday night's 1-0 friendly win away at Hereford United.

Doyle joined the Blues as a trainee in 2003, and has since gone on to make 31 appearances in all competitions.

During his time at St Andrew's, he has spent spells on loan at Chester, Nottingham Forest and Millwall.

Plymouth have confirmed that Bermuda international goalkeeper Freddy Hall has ended his trial at the club and will now return to his club Bermuda Hogges.
