Northern Thunder maintained their 100% record with a ninth win of the season and moved top of netball's Superleague. Thunder beat Loughborough Lightning to move level on points with Hertfordshire Mavericks, who they meet on Monday. They are the only side who could take maximum points from a weekend of two matches, with play-off chasing Surrey Storm and Team Bath both losing once. Storm went down 57-48 at home to Bath before beating Leeds Carnegie, while Team Bath lost at Lightning on Sunday.
