Hey Guys!

Well then, to all of you who were lucky enough to get down to netball's first ever Fast Net World Netball Series - wow! Wasn't it amazing?

Six nations, new Fast Net rules, massive flames and great netball, all packed into the MEN Arena in Manchester.

I can admit that I was a bit sceptical about the new rules and shorter quarters (who wasn't?), but it was fantastic and every spectator that filled the seats would tell you the same thing.

In such a high octane, high pressure environment, it was literally anybody's game. Myself and the England girls started the tournament on fire; our shooters scored two-pointers left, right and centre, we beat all the teams in the round robin and finished top of our group, just ahead of Australia!

Teams like Jamaica and New Zealand, who had lost four games between them in the round robin stage, were still able to advance to the finals.

You can imagine the energy in the stadium, where fans didn't know what to expect next. They could not risk leaving their seats for fear of missing some great move or four-pointers during a powerplay which could turn a game on its head.

Then, to top the star-studded week of netball off, some of you lucky fans were able to get down to Bath University to watch nail-biting games as me and the girls took on Australia and New Zealand in two Test matches.

It was definitely anti-climactic to end what started off as a great week of netball with defeats to Australia and New Zealand. Let's just say that we have a little more fine-tuning to do as a team - a challenge that we will all step up to.

This weekend the new Superleague season begins. There's lots to look forward to so all you guys make sure you get down and support your favourite team.

I guess the biggest news is that my team, Surrey Storm, have made some fantastic signings.

Our new-look team can't wait to get going and with my England team-mates Tamsin Greenway, Geva Mentor and Rachel Dunn on board alongside a host of top class players I think this season could be wicked.

Other teams have also stepped up to the plate and Mavericks will be strong once again with the return of former England internationals Amanda Newton and Naomi Stenhouse.

Northern Thunder have acquired two top-class signings in Sara Bayman and Jade Clarke and Team Bath and Loughborough Lightning still have great talent.

It's exciting stuff so why not introduce a friend to Superleague netball and get supporting your local team?
