Penzance are now only one point clear of Hayle at the top of the Cornish Netball First Division despite beating Connect on Monday evening. Penzance were 44-34 away winners over Connect, but Hayle beat Predators by 59-30 to keep the pressure on. Hayle are now on 10 points after two games, whilst Penzance have 11 points having played a match more. Third-placed St Austell could move up to first in the table if they beat Penryn at home on Tuesday evening.
