Penzance have moved to the top of the Cornish Netball First Division after beating Connect on Monday night. Penzance won 48-27 at home to Connect, who were playing their first game in the top division since gaining promotion earlier this year. Penzance are now on six points after playing two games, whilst Hayle are in second on five points, after one game. On Tuesday the other newly promoted side Bodmin, start their season at home to the defending champions St Austell.
