Fulghum scored the first goal on Friday but the result went against Blaze

Coventry Blaze suffered a hat-trick of defeats over the weekend to stretch their losing run to six games.

Blaze began with a 5-1 drubbing by Cardiff Devils in front of their home fans and television cameras on Friday.

Paul Thompson's side followed that by by losing 6-5 when Hull Stingrays came to the Skydome 24 hours later.

It did not get much better north of the border as Coventry were then beaten 3-2 by Dundee Stars, despite Luke Fulghum scoring his third of the weekend.
