Chelmsford Chieftains and Romford Raiders hit 39 goals between them as both teams swept aside their National South Division One opponents on Sunday. The Chieftains made it five games without defeat with a 14-4 thrashing of Oxford City Stars. And the Raiders were in equally uncompromising mood as they took apart Swindon Wildcats 15-2. The result puts Romford fourth in the table, one point and one place behind their Essex rivals. Romford hit 79 shots in their biggest win of the season, which saw player-coach Danny Marshall become the Raiders' highest scoring player of all time, moving on to 1,232 points since making his debut in 1993.
