National South side Romford Raiders have added Lithuanian international Algimantas Visockas and Swede Pierre Wilhelmsson to their roster. Forward Visockas, 23, plays as a forward while 25-year-old Wilhelmsson plies his trade in defence. Meanwhile, coach Danny Marshall has named forward Anthony Leone as his captain for the season. Despite the new campaign getting underway on 4 September the Raiders have yet to play a game this season. The league were unable to arrange an opening day fixture for the club, while Saturday's tie with fellow Essex side Chelmsford Chieftains was suspended. The Chieftains have had to delay their home game schedule because of refurbishment to their Riverside Ice Rink home, meaning they will not play a home fixture until October. Meanwhile Romford hope to kick off their campaign on 19 September when they host the Bristol Pit Bulls.
