Nottingham Panthers picked up their first win in five matches, beating Braehead Clan 5-2 in Glasgow. New signing Angel Nikolov impressed with a goal in the second period and three assists on Wednesday night. The home side took the lead in the first period but Nikolov set up a Matt Myers equaliser. David Clarke, Alex Penner and David Beauregard also got goals for Nottingham with ex-Panther Brendan Cook getting one back for the home side.
