Injured Nottingham Panthers forward Jay Henderson is returning home to Canada after finding out he will be sidelined for at least another two months.

Henderson suffered a neck and back injury during pre-season and will have treatment in his homeland.

Player-coach Corey Neilson has not ruled out Henderson coming back again but is looking for a replacement.

Meanwhile forward Marc Levers needs groin surgery next week but could be back within three weeks.
