Nottingham Panthers player coach Corey Neilson says his side's 4-1 defeat by rivals Sheffield Steelers was a night of missed chances. Sheffield converted three powerplays in their fierce clash at the National Ice Centre on Saturday. "Their goalie [Ervins Mustukovs] made some fantastic, momentum changing saves," the Panthers boss told BBC Radio Nottingham. "When we had our opportunities, we failed to capitalise." Nottingham are fourth in the Elite League with 10 points after eight matches. The Panthers face the Steelers again in the Challenge Cup on Wednesday, 27 October.
