Nottingham captain Craig Hammond was delighted to see his side bounce back from a dramatic defeat by Doncaster to impressively beat Moseley 40-15.
A hat-trick from winger David Jackson helped the Green & Whites ease to victory at Meadow Lane on Sunday.
"We needed that. It was frustrating [against Doncaster] last weekend," Hammond told BBC Radio Nottingham.
"We're pretty happy to get a win in front of the home crowd and get the confidence of the the boys up."
John Johnston went over in the first minute for Nottingham before Jackson grabbed his first try.
Anthony Carter pulled one back for Moseley but Nottingham responded through Jackson once more before half-time, and he grabbed his third shortly after the break.
David Marshall added a fifth for the home side before Richard Stott added a late consolation for the visitors in a one-sided encounter.
