Selmser arrives at the Skydome from the Vienna Capitals

Coventry Blaze have confirmed the signing of Canadian forward Sean Selmser from Austrian Elite League side Vienna Capitals.

The 35-year-old joins Brad Zanon and Owen Fussey as new Blaze signings, and he will combine his playing duties with a course at Coventry University.

Selmser was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1993 and played one game in the NHL for Columbus Blue Jackets.

He played alongside Blaze defenceman Jonathan Weaver at Ayr in 2002/03.
