Gould finished eighth in last year's race

Kenilworth athlete Philip Gould won the annual Warwickshire AA 10km Championship on Sunday.

Incorporated into the Two Castles Run, the course winds its way between Warwick and Kenilworth.

Gould was a clear winner in a field of just under 2,400 competitors, reaching the grounds of Kenilworth Castle in a time of 35 minutes 14 seconds.

Leamington's Sue Harrison was the first female to cross the line, finishing in sixth place overall.
