Nottingham Panthers stay in Elite League title race
Richardson scored in Panthers 3-2 victory over Edinburgh
Nottingham Panthers kept alive their slim Elite League title hopes with a 3-2 home win over Edinburgh Capitals.
Panthers need to rely on the Capitals winning in Coventry on Thursday to give them a chance going into the final weekend of the league season.
Stevie Lee put Panthers ahead and although Simon Lambert levelled, Cameron Mann made it 2-1 to the hosts.
Bruce Richardson scored a third into an empty net before Jeff Hutchins netted a last-gasp consolation for the visitors.
Richardson told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We found a way to win and we still have to hope we can win the league."
