Potts extends his stay at the Spectrum

Guildford Flames have re-signed Stuart Potts for the 2009/2010 season.

It will be the 27-year-old's sixth campaign in Flames colours, last term he netted 10 goals and 47 points during their 61-game season.

Flames coach Paul Dixon said: "Stuart is a good playmaker, he puts up pretty good offensive numbers but is also a good penalty killer.

"Last season he had a bit of a slow start but, as we got deeper into the schedule, he picked up his game."
