Liddiard has a club career total of 34 goals and 147 points

Guildford Flames have re-signed defenceman Neil Liddiard for what will be his seventh season with the club.

The 31-year-old, who stands at 6ft, had seven goals and 17 assists last season, bringing his club career total to 34 goals and 147 points.

Guildford head coach Paul Dixon said: "Neil is the type of player that makes a contribution that people often do not notice. He is not a flashy player.

"However, he is unquestionably a top defenceman in the league."
