Zavoral joined Flames in the summer of 2005

Guildford Flames forward Vinny Zavoral has joined up for a fifth season with the Surrey club.

The 28-year-old Czech has won two league titles with Flames, and has scored 88 goals in 200 games, nine of which were match winners.

Flames head coach Paul Dixon said: "Vinny's energy and intensity on a game-in game-out basis is invaluable to our team.

"He is a complete professional both on and off the ice."

"He has good size and good speed, he plays physical, can contribute offensively, and can even drop back to play defence which was his natural position before his arrival in the UK," he continued.

"He has been a big part of our success over his time with the club and we are looking forward to putting him back into our line up when the new season begins."
