Guildford Flames have signed defenceman Jez Lundin from the Newcastle Vipers. The 21-year-old Great Britain under-20 international scored six goals and collected 21 points in 125 starts in three seasons with the Vipers. Flames head coach Paul Dixon said: "He is young, strong and wants to be a better player every day. "He will provide a valuable presence at the back with a physical brand of hockey that is a key aspect of his game," he added. "He has the skills to handle play at both ends of the rink and on special teams so we are expecting him to have a real impact on our talent pool at the back. "We are pleased that he made the decision to move in our direction to further his playing career."
