Nottingham Panthers have announced their second signing in as many days with the return of British forward Matthew Myers.

The 24-year-old is back for a sixth year with the club after a career best season of 45 points in 51 matches.

Coach Corey Neilson told BBC Radio Nottingham: "He leads by example on the ice and plays centre and on the wing.

"He's good in front of the net on the powerplay, gets in people's faces and has been a great player."

Myers added: "I'm very happy to be back and the roster's shaping up well.

"I'm 24 now and this will be my sixth season with the Panthers.

"We had a great year last year and I'm looking to build on that both as part of the team and my own contributions too."
