A Brad Cruikshank hat-trick helped the Steelers to a comfortable 4-1 win over the Manchester Phoenix on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old grabbed a first period brace to leave the Steelers 2-0 up after 20 minutes.

After a scoreless second session Joey Talbot found the net on the powerplay to increase the lead.

Cruikshank rounded off with his third of the night eight minutes from time while Carl Graham snatched Phoenix's consolation with two minutes to go.
