Parley has struggled for form since joining Panthers in September
Nottingham Panthers have released Canadian netminder Davis Parley, who has struggled for form since signing from South Carolina.
His replacement will be Michel Robinson, who played under former Panthers coach Paul Adey in Italy and has served his notice at Edinburgh.
Current coach Corey Neilson told BBC Radio Nottingham: "Sometimes it doesn't work out on certain teams.
"He [Parley] lost that confidence and it's a shame, but I wish him luck."
Montreal-born Robinson played with former Panther Steve Pelletier in Rockford back in 2004-2005.
Neilson added: "Michel can come in and take the team by the horns. I think he can come in a prove he is a goalie that can do well in a big city and big pressure environment.
"I have a lot of confidence in him I know he's exited about the opportunity."
Robinson said: "I am determined to grab this chance with the Panthers."
