Matt Thornhill has scored one goal for the Reds this season

Four Nottingham Forest Academy graduates have signed new contracts at the City Ground.

Joe Heath, Matt Thornhill and James Reid have signed for the Reds until summer 2011.

Adam Newbold has pledged to at Forest until 2010 with the option to extend for a further 12 months.

Manager Colin Calderwood told the club website: "The new contracts are our way of rewarding them for the progress they have made this season."

Meanwhile, Forest have recalled defender Brendan Moloney from his loan spell at Rushden & Diamonds.

The Irishman, 19, has not figured in the Reds' first team this season but is likely to be in contention to play against Barnsley on Saturday.
