Telford Tigers have brought back Slovakian Marek Hornak as their second import signing for the new season.

Hornak took a while to adjust last year after joining from Swindon Wildcats, but has now settled in.

Hornak said: "I am definitely glad to be back. I plan to score goals, and get the team to the play-offs."

Hornak, who lives in Telford with his girlfriend and works at Wolverhampton University's campus in the town, added: "It has all worked out well."

Tigers coach Claude Dumas feels Hornak can be a great asset.

"He has lightning speed, and we want him to be part of a very quick and exciting team this year," he said.

"So far, every signing is a very good player, and I think if we put it all together we can be a very good team,".

"I think we will be able to compete with teams like Milton Keynes and Sheffield, which would be very good. It is definitely an exciting season ahead."
