Daniel Croft came through the Telford junior ranks |
Top defenceman and former club skipper Daniel Croft is delighted to be returning to Telford Tigers after twelve months at Milton Keynes. "My year away helped me to develop and I really enjoyed it but it's great to be back at my home club," Croft told the Tigers' website. Tigers coach Claude Dumas admits they felt his loss: "We didn't have Croft last year and we missed his leadership. "People look up to him. He's steady and will do anything for his team." Croft added that he cannot wait to get back in to action. "I don't think it will take long for the team to settle," he said. "The side that Claude is putting together is quite a young, quick team with similar styles, so I think they will click fairly easily. "Even the younger players have good roots and people have good things to say about them."
