AFC Telford United midfielder Simon Forsdick should be able to play again within the next few weeks according to boss Rob Smith.

A minor operation on Forsdick's troublesome knee has revealed only bruising to the cartilage.

"[It's] good news he should be fit in the next two or three weeks," Smith told BBC Radio Shropshire.

Lee Vaughan and Asa Charlton are also on the mend and should play some part in Saturday's friendly with Chester.
