230 athletes are representing Isle of man this year

THE Isle of Man has won a second gold medal in the 2009 Island Games.

The men's gymnastic floor and vault team clinched the top position ahead of the Faroes in an event earlier today.

The team, consisting of Anand Patel, Joe Smith, Alex Hedges and Adam Hedges, will be celebrating after a wonderful start to their week.

Earlier the women's gymnastic team also won a silver medal in the team floor and vault competition.
