Newquay Paralypic swimmers Jon Fox and Matt Whorwood have returned home from the Paralympics to a heroes' welcome.
Fox won silver in the 100m backstroke while Whorwood took two bronze medals in Beijing's Watercube.
The pair, who both train with Newquay Cormorants Swimming Club, arrived back to meet their team-mates at the Cornish pool at the weekend.
"It was really nice because we've trained with those guys for four years," Whorwood told BBC Spotlight.
"To come down and welcome us back to the pool where we've put all the hours in for the little bit of show in Beijing was really great," added the 18-year-old, who has missed his freshers' week at Swansea University in order to go back home.
"It's been a really good welcome back," added Fox, who is hoping to get to the top of the podium at the next Paralympics.
"I've got two more years at college and after that I'm going to concentrate on my swimming so I'm ready to get gold at London in 2012."
