Pellow was in the Mounts Bay team that won the 2007 Intermediate Cup

Redruth have signed former Mounts Bay coach Ricky Pellow.

The 30-year-old former Exeter and Worcester scrum-half won the Heineken Cup with Bath in 1998.

He left Mounts Bay at the end of last season to concentrate on getting his coaching qualifications and to resume playing full-time.

Pellow, who previously played for Redruth as a teenager, will go straight into the squad for Saturday's match away at Wharfedale.
