Norfolk takes French title
Peter Norfolk came through a thrilling final in Paris to win the men's quad singles title at the French Open Wheelchair Tennis Championships.

The Briton got his match against Japanese second seed Nobuhiro Tachibana off to the perfect start, taking the first set 6-4.

Tachibana battled back clinching the second set 6-4 to level his match with the second seed.

But momentum swung back in Norfolk's favour as he swept to an easy 6-2 victory to claim the title.

Norfolk's win not only saw him improve on his runners-up spot in France last year it also ended Tachibana's unbeaten run in 2003.

World number one David Hall won an equally exciting men's main singles final after he came from behind to beat Japanese third seed Satoshi Saida.
