Mistry eases into quarters
Jayant Mistry moved into the quarter-finals of the French Open Wheelchair Tennis Championships with a straight sets victory over Regis Harel.

The British number one, who had received a bye into the last 16, got his campaign off to a perfect start, defeating the Frenchman 6-2 6-3.

The Loughborough-based athlete now faces a daunting quarter-final battle with world number one David Hall from Australia.

Janet McMorran's campaign in Paris came to a disappointing end as she was well-beaten by top seed Maaike Smit.

Britain's top female player was defeated 6-2 6-2 by the Dutchwoman in the quarter-finals.
