Jenkins has played in seven televised finals

Ledbury darts professional Terry Jenkins is set to play in front of the sport's largest ever crowd when he opens the Premier League campaign.

Jenkins kicks off the 2010 event against ex-Evesham player Ronnie Baxter at London's O2 Arena on Thursday.

Tickets are fast selling out and a crowd in the region of 10,000 is expected for the televised showpiece.

The former antiques dealer has taken his career earnings to over £500,000 since turning professional.
