In-form Terry Jenkins toppled Irish number one McGowan

Ledbury professional Terry Jenkins overcame the spirited challenge of Ireland's Mick McGowan to move into the second round of the World Grand Prix.

Jenkins made a confident start in Dublin with a 2-0 straight sets win.

He won the first two legs of the first set to take command, only for McGowan, to the delight of his army of fans, to win the second set opener on double 10.

But Jenkins took his chance to pull clear and seal victory on double top.
