Phil Taylor says success in Monday's Premier League of Darts play-offs will be the perfect way to silence those who have doubted him. 'The Power' lost three of his opening four games in the Premier League but recovered to top the final table. "It's about proving them wrong as much as proving myself right," Taylor told BBC Radio Stoke. "If I lift the trophy I will be reminding some people 'Look at the Power, he's back again'." Taylor will meet fellow Stoke native Adrian Lewis in the semi-final, an opponent he knows as well as anyone. "Adrian is a great player and I'm pleased that he has made it this far. He is still young and he's still learning, but with the benefit of experience he could make millions out of darts." The winner of the Taylor-Lewis semi will go on to meet either Raymond van Barneveld or James Wade, a match that Taylor says is too close to call. "It's really intriguing, a game that I would say is 50/50. Barney isn't playing at his best, he's a bit low on confidence at the minute and James has hurt his back. I don't know who will win but I don't mind who I play if I get to the final." Taylor is going for his fourth successive Premier League title.
