Phil Taylor produced a masterclass to beat Wayne Mardle 8-1 and move top of the Premier League with one round of regular-season matches left. Taylor averaged 107 and had a 60% check-out rate in Thursday's victory to extend his unbeaten run to nine games. The Stoke player said: "I was worried when I was bottom of the table so to be top now is a great feeling." Adrian Lewis can still reach the last-four after he battled back to draw 7-7 with Peter Manley.
