Adrian Lewis is through to the Darts Premier League play-offs |
Stoke's Adrian Lewis is in the Premier League Darts play-offs after sneaking the last of the four semi-final places. Lewis's 7-7 draw against Wayne Mardle in Newcastle put him through to the last four thanks to league leader Phil Taylor's 8-1 win over Peter Manley. Lewis said: "I thought a draw would be good enough for me and I relaxed when I went 7-5 up against Wayne." Lewis now faces former mentor and rival Taylor in Darts' big night at Cardiff's International Arena on 26 May. In the other semi, Raymond van Barneveld, who finished with an 8-1 win over Ledbury's Terry Jenkins, will take on James Wade, who was just pipped for top spot by Taylor.
