Gareth Fargher fastest in Ballaugh round

Fargher now leads the Masters class by 50 points

Gareth Fargher recorded the quickest run in round four of the Manx Mountain Bike Club's Downhill Series held at Ballaugh plantation on Sunday.

Fargher completed the challenging descent in a time of two minutes 12.388 seconds to take the overall victory and the Masters class.

Lee Corlett was second fastest on the day just 0.256 seconds behind Fargher to claim the Senior win.

Mark Turner triumphed in the Junior class with a time of 2:24.427.

The young rider has won three of the four rounds.

The fifth round will take place on 28 July with the course still to be confirmed.
