Mark Turner stormed to victory in the Isle of Man Junior National Downhill Championships on Sunday. The 12-year-old conquered the slippery conditions and highly technical course at Arrasey to set a winning time of two minutes 31.57 seconds. Turner's impressive run, which put him more than a minute ahead of second-placed Cai Illingworth, would have seen him finish 11th in the senior event. The fifth and final round of the series will take place on 23 August.
