The second round of the Manx Mountain Bike Club's National XC Championship takes place on Sunday, 17 May at Chibbanagh Plantation.

Julian Corlett claimed the first round victory by over 10 minutes from Robert Cormode on a long and highly technical cross-country course at Tholt-y-Will.

The leading lady across the line was Julie Lyness minus one lap in 14th.

Sign-on will start at 0900 BST for a 1000 BST start and the race be no less than two hours.

MMBC's beginner rides will start again from Monday 11 May at Archallegan Plantation at 1830 BST.

Riders under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
