Gosselin first in White team win

Cycling

The riders lower down the order were behind the convincing margin of victory for the White team in the Guernsey Velo Club's six-lap road race on Sunday.

Split into two teams with one point for first, two for second and so on, the team with the fewest points won.

On the final climb Josh Gosselin pulled away from the Orange team's Matt Osborn and Tony Bleasdale to take first place.

It was the less well-known riders who created the gap as the Whites finished on 185 ahead of the Orange team on 221.
