Cornwall's Premier Team are through to the last eight of the Inter County Championship Consolation Competition after beating Avon 25-15. Cornwall led the match in Melksham from the outset, taking a 10-6 at the half-way stage. The sides drew the third session before Cornwall won triples and the fours in the final session to seal victory. Cornwall will now face Hampshire in the quarter-finals on Saturday 26 February at Kempston IBC in Bedford.
