Four of Cornwall's short mat bowls titles were contested at the weekend's County Championships in Bodmin. The triples crown went to Saltash's Melba Kitt, Graham Reeves and Darran Woolner, who beat Penlee 9-8. Liskeard's Sheila Hodge, Dorothy Woodyatt, Tony Baldwin and Derek Newton won the fours event. Peter Hore defeated Illogan's David Studden 10-5 to win the County singles, while Margaret Jenkin and Nigel Nicholls claimed the pairs title.
